I've known Ben and Betty since they started dating in the 1940's and we'd been friends ever since. We've shared many meals and good times over the years. Our children enjoyed playing together in their childhood. We loved to visit them at their home in Etobicoke where they hosted picnics in their backyard. Ben liked to treat my daughters and I to lunch when we visited Betty in Lindsay. We've shared lots of laughs over birthday cake and I have many fond memories of Ben through the years. We visited Ben at the farm in Hastings and he loved to show us around the town. We'd stop at his favourite spot for lunch. He loved to see us enjoy ourselves. We'll miss him very much. He was a wonderful friend to me and my family. Love Helen
