To the Patterson family. A mother is always the heart and soul of any family, bringing and keeping them together. Shirley truly loved her children and husband with all her heart. She loved her community and always did her best to bring the community together. You all have wonderful memories of a loving and giving wife/mother. My Condolence to your family and may your memories bring you comfort. Donellda Fraser

We were deeply saddened to learn of the loss of our trustee and dear friend Shirley Patterson. She was such a kind and giving person, but, also a strong presence at the Board table. Shirley wanted what was best for the kids in KPR and she was always proud of the work the staff in schools were doing. She brought fun and enthusiasm to all who knew her and we will miss her very much. We are lucky to have known Shirley and to have worked together. Our sincerest condolences go out to all her family. We share your loss at this sad time.

Sincerely,

Martin Twiss

Saying goodbye yesterday was harder than I thought it would be, but knowing I will see you again gives me peace. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have known you and have you in my life. To see that the family is still so close makes my heart smile, never lose that, stay strong and together, my thoughts and prayers go out to all of you, hoping God will hold each and everyone of you in his arms and you feel his warmth around you, keep smiling my surrogate family, know that you are all loved and thought of.
Sincerely, Carol Houghton (nee Ellis)
