We were saddened to hear about Roy. We have had his help with many automotive problems over the years, and always found him pleasant to deal with. Please accept our condolences to you and all of your family. I'm sure that he will be missed by many.

TO Pat, Candace, and Clint, Sandra and I wish to pass our condolences to you. And to you Jeanette, Al, Wayne and your families. He was a very good father, brother,brother-in-law and uncle. Not too many people can be classified as really good people, but he was one. You know I never heard him get upset, lose his temper or even show his anger. But maybe he was just being good around Sally and me.
You have captured his smile in that picture. Very much a Roy smile.
I will relate some stories. When Sally and I started our honey moon some one "affected" our car. It quit just outside Norwood on our way to Peterborough. Who to call but Roy. He lent us his car for the night, had ours fixed and we picked it up the next day.
And during the years we made many CAA calls to Roy. More than once one of our kids (usually Sean) placed a call to CAA to have Roy come and pull him out. One time in particular. Sean took Julie to the cabin for the first time and wanted to show Julie where he got her Jeep stuck the time before when he and his friends went to the cabin and Roy had to pull him out. Yep, Sean got stuck again. Same place. Roy pulled him out. I think Roy said something about CAA was not intended to pull out vehicles that were off roading.
More than once I, and I am sure others went to Roy for vehicle advice or to unlock a door
I think Roy probably did car rescues for Dan and Ang also, but no one would ever tell Sally or me.
I remember Roy working with horses and his dad. I have a picture of him with the two Belgians and the dog. Nice picture. Then the horses ran away. Luckily our little Sean was in the house when they took off. Ran across the road and finally got stopped when one went on either side of a small tree. Didn't upset or worry Roy much
So to all who read this just know that Roy is now with Sally and their parents. God bless you Roy Mack - we will be strong
