I love and will always miss you Aunti :(

We are Military and lived in Saskatchewa, when we had our son David. Aunti and Uncle Stew decided to  stop by for a visit on their way out west. Being so far away from family with the Military makes those memories even more special. So Aunti doesn't see so well and Uncle Stew doesn't hear so well, especially when he turns down his hearing aid. It just makes me smile thinking how they did this trip so far. I do remember by the time they got to us, that Aunti was practically yelling at Uncle Stew and he mentioned to me that he sometimes LOL turns down the volume on his hearing aid. :)

We had a wonderful visit with the two of them and one I will always treasure. One of the high lights of the visit was when we took them to the Base and Claude was showing Uncle Stew around, well a couple hours later Uncle Stew was the one doing the tour with about 20+ Military personelle following with great interest of his stories from his time in the Miltary and the 2nd World War. I know it meant so much to Claude and he has always had the greatest respect for Uncle Stew.

My favourite story of Aunti was on the 1st Anniversary of Mom's death. I didn't want to be sad anymore, so I called Aunti and asked her if I could come for a visit, funny that I was just thinking about this, this morning. Aunti shared so much with me about Mom and her younger years. She helped me figure out all the old photos that Mom left behind and who the people and places where in the photos. She made it such a special day for me and I am truely greatful that I made the decision to go and visit with her, and I know Mom would have been happy that I did so as well.

Aunti was such a special lady and she will be greatly missed. We love you, always Tina and Claude xo
