DRAIN, Leonard Douglas Francis — Of Peterborough / Newfoundland, Aged 32 years, Passed away peacefully November 25, 2013 after a courageous battle at Ottawa Heart Institute with his family by his side. Survived by his loving partner and soul mate Debe (Bartlett). He will be sadly missed by his mother & stepfather Susan (Drain) & Steve Dumont, father Leonard LaFonte, step mother Yvonne Skelcher and grandmother Evelyn Kitchener. Forever in the hearts of sister Amanda (Parnham), brother Cory (LaFonte), stepsisters, Lisa (Smith), Cassandra, Carlie (LaFonte), Sarah, Samantha (Dumont), step grandparents Shirley & Jim Mannerow. Remembered with love by numerous aunts, uncles, family members & friends. In keeping with Lenny’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at BRETT FUNERAL CHAPELS, HAVELOCK, on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations for Leonard’s Celebration will be accepted.
