Condolences

Condolence From: Mark Doughty
Condolence: This will be the first Father's Day in 54 years without my Dad.
He is still with me. I collect stamps, sing, play guitar, love country music, the outdoors, fishing, Ontario, country living and Canada all because of him.
I truly am my father's son.
I miss you Dad. AKA, The old Chesnut Digger, AKA Tonka.
Love Mark (mini Tonka)

Condolence From: Ken Crozier
Condolence: Chris, Mark, Leslie and Ken,
I was very saddened to learn of Ken's passing, and I hope you are all doing as well as possible at a time like this.
One of my favorite memories: "the boys" had been out at Frank Veteres one night when they were widening Lawrence Avenue. Some bright light ( I'm blaming Bob Wint, but I'm not sure he was there!) thought it would be fun to take a temporary stop sign on its pole for a little walk. Beer finally kicks in and we had no idea what to do with it, so we figured "lets plant it on Mark's front lawn". Next morning as we were getting ready to head off to school, we stop by to collect Mark; Ken Sr. Comes out the front door and sees the sign planted on the lawn. He never broke stride, just kept heading towards his car, but called over his shoulder "Chris, I think the boys came by last night" and off he went!
My thoughts are with you. Please be well.
Ken

Condolence From: Jim Dunk
Condolence: I extend to Christina, and all of Ken’s family, my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Ken and I worked for the same company (Guaranty Trust) in Toronto during the 1960’s, and our paths crossed again when he moved to the Marmora/Havelock area. It was always a pleasure to chat with Ken and reminisce about our working days in the Toronto area. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
