We were so sorry to read your notice in the Globe of  Dorelle’s death, barely a month after Bill had passed away. We missed seeing the notice of Bill’s death. Our parents, Anne and Ian MacLeod were good friends of your parents from the early days in Sarnia – Ian and Bill worked together as engineers at Imperial, and Anne and Dorelle became friends through many shared interests while raising the children. Though both families were transferred over the years they kept in touch. Bill and Dorelle happened to be visiting Calgary in 2009 when my father was terminally ill and Bill got him laughing which was a memory we will cherish.  Dorelle sent us some wonderful photos from the 50's that we had never seen before. My mother is in a nursing home in Moncton and we have passed on your doubly sad news. The world is poorer for the loss of your parents.
