MADILL, Carl – Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at Fairhaven on Saturday, February 21, 2015, at the age of 83, formerly of Round Lake Road, Havelock, Ontario. Carl was born in Tosorontio Township. Cherished father of Colin (Vicky), Sharon O’Connor (Stanley), both of Marmora, Lloyd (Marjorie) of Madoc and Linda O’Connor (Art) of Warsaw. Proud Grandpa and Poppy to Mandi McCann (Mike), Carl Madill Jr., Charity Meiklejohn (BJ), Wesley Madill, Candice White (Scott), Willie O’Connor (Erin) and Sheri Holmes (Travis). Also remembered by many great-grandchildren, friends and his extended family at Fairhaven. Predeceased by his siblings Lorne, Bruce, Ray and Doreen. Carl will be fondly remembered for his love of his horses and his dog Buster, westerns, playing the fife in the Orange parade, his many tunes on the piano, cutting wood, hunting, making maple syrup, his love of a snort of whiskey and his willingness to always lend a hand. Resting at the BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HAVELOCK on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11:00 am, Reverend Gloria Master officiating.
