I first met Irene almost 3 years ago. We would sit and talk for short periods of time as my job didn't allow for too much. I think the world of this lady. She always spoke very highly and proudly of her upbringing, her life and her children and grand/great children. Full of warmth and kindness. She will be sadly missed by many I know. She was always spoke about in a kind way and with very pleasant comments from friends. Irene spoke often about Belmont Lake and her life there and the store she ran, for years she would say.
