TANNER, William Henry ‘Bill’ (WWII Veteran, Long time member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #389, Havelock) — Surrounded by his family at his residence July 15, 2020 in his 96th year. Husband of the late Bernice (nee Phalen). Loving Dad of Jane Tanner (Francisco) of Peterborough, and Deb Follett (Danny) of Havelock. Poppy will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Mandy (Tiffany), Danielle (Chris), Derek (Katelynn), Darcy (Tammy) and his great grandchildren Douglas, Olivia, Westin & Tenley. Brother of Herb (Muriel) and the late Jack, Wes, Harry, Evelyn, Shirley, Eileen and Mary-Lou. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends gathered at MAPLE GROVE CEMETERY, Wednesday, July 22th, 2020 for a graveside service at 3:00pm, Kathleen Whyte L.L.W.L. officiated.
