Obituary for William Patrick "Bill" Crowley

Bill passed away on Wednesday January 19 at LHSC London, from COVID19 complications in his 59th year. Born in Campbellford, he was the son of Louis and Doreen Crowley (predeceased). Lovingly remembered by siblings Ann Marie (Roger), Louis, Bernard (Margaret Anne), Paul (Martha), Mary Lou (John), Joe (Jennifer), many nieces and nephews, and other family members. Bill grew up on a farm in Norwood. He was an active 4H member, and was very proud of showing cows at local fairs and exhibitions. It was hard to find a bigger smile on a boy’s face then when Bill would come away with a winning ribbon or two. His love of farming also took him to Tillsonburg for a few years to work for an Uncle he admired, and allowed him the opportunity to work in Australia for a year, memories he always cherished. Bill eventually moved to London Ontario to become a nurse, a career he saw his mother enjoy so much in her life. Bill also loved sports. His life followed only three seasons; the Jays, Bruins and Philadelphia Eagles. Long before the internet, Bill was the local source for all the latest information you would ever want to know about those teams. Bill suffered from more than his fair share of health problems in his life. Those closest to him will always remember that when healthy, he was the last to bed and the first to rise, never shying away from being the life of the party. Special thanks to all of the medical staff at London Health Sciences Centre for their tremendous compassion and care of Bill. If desired, a donation can be made to London Health Sciences Foundation (lhsf.ca) or a charity of your choice.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at St.Paul's Catholic Church, Norwood at 11:00am. Interment to follow at St. Paul's Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Brett Funeral Chapel, Hastings, ON.
