DODD, Walter “Wayne” (35 year employee of OMC) – Passed peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, November 10, 2023, Wayne Dodd of Hastings in his 89th year. Son of the late Ruby & Walter “Pat” Dodd. Beloved husband of the late Vera (nee Mathews). Loving father of Doug (Ann), Judy Newton (late Jamie). Proud grandfather of Curtis Dodd (Hawley), April Valentine (Travis), Kirk Newton (Nicole), Kyle Newton (Candice), Koel Newton and great grandfather of Carly & Emily Valentine, Bennett & Brooks Dodd, Vera & Ruby Newton, and Levi Newton. Survived by his siblings Gary (late Joan), Sharon Kyle (Terry) and the late Arlene Dodd. Brother in law of Mildred Campbell (late Ken), and the late Isabel (Donny), Susie (Ken, Mick), Bruce (Joyce), Hughie. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 106 Hastings on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.
