WATSON, Verna - (Resident of Timber Trails Retirement Residence, Madoc and formerly of Havelock) — After a brief illness at Belleville General Hospital, June 8, 2021 in her 92nd year. Wife of the late Robert Frederick Watson (2007). Dear mother of the late Charles and Elaine (Perry Curtis of Calgary). Special Aunt of Robert ‘Giz’, Carol, Lois (Donald Dwight), Elizabeth Watson-George, Jennifer Watson, Cathy Watson (Jason Kemp) and the late Timothy. Verna was the 5th born of 11 children in St. Ola. She is survived by 3 sisters: Elva (late Bert Conley), Edith Phillips and Barb (Ken Gozzard) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held at MAPLE GROVE CEMETERY, HAVELOCK on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:30pm, Reverend David Estabrooks officiating.
