He passed away peacefully at his home in Hastings, Ontario on Monday, November 8th, surrounded by his cherished wife and 4 daughters. Steve truly lived a life full of love, laughter, fun and hard work. He put 110% into everything he did: work, sport, hobbies, new pursuits and friends & family. He was kind-hearted, loving and generous with his time to others – always being there to support those he loved and cared for. He had a long list of sport and hobbies that he enjoyed immensely and excelled at: Skiing, Windsurfing, Sailing, Football, Violin, Landscaping & Gardening, Traveling, Model Airplane Building & Flying and later in life developed a love for cooking – a hobby both he and his wife Trish loved to do together. In addition to all that, he enjoyed home design and construction, and together with his wife, designed and built their family home on the Trent River. Steve will be dearly missed and always remembered by his friends and family.
