It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Shirley Byron on Monday August 22nd 2022.
Shirley passed peacefully at The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth.
Loving daughter of the late Albert Belgium Byron of Cabbagetown Toronto, and Shirley (nee Wrightman) of Vivian Ontario. Loving mother to Tommy James Leveque of Toronto and Carrie Anne Vaillancourt (nee Leveque)of Hastings. Beloved wife of Walter Hertrich and dear sister of eight siblings. Five sisters, Linda, Marie, Debbie, Nancy and Elaine, and three brothers, Reggie, and predeceased by Jimmy and Leo. Proud Gramma of Jillian Wallace (nee Leveque) and Gabrielle Vaillancourt. Mother in Law to Gilles Vaillancourt and Rodrigo Yamasaki. Sister in Law to Robert Fleming (Marie), and the late Wally Young (Linda). Gramma in Law to Dave Wallace. And G.G. to the loves of her life, great grandson's Grayson and Asher Wallace.
Shirley will be greatly missed by many friends and extended family. As per her wishes, a cremation has taken place and Shirley would like to be remembered through a celebration of her life. This will take place at a later date which will be posted by family. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate memorial donations be made to The Bridges Hospice in Warkworth in her name.
