PETTIT, Sharon Elizabeth - January 9, 1957 - September 14, 2019 — Liz passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be missed by her loving husband Brent Chovance, her children Hilary, Craig (Ashley), Melissa (Tim), Candace, Nicole and Shelby. She was the proud grandmother of Ethan, Trey, Kailey, Sienna, Audrina, Keagan, Connor, Everleigh and Parker. She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Sheila Pettit of Ottawa. Liz was the beloved sister of Carolyn and Suzanne (David) and the dear sister in law of Robert (Cathy), Mark (Mary) and Karen (Dan). She was loved by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Cremation and a private family service will be held. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada or the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Foundation.
