MacDonell, Michael John -- It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Michael John MacDonell on September 21,2022. Michael was in his 70th year - Born January 6, 1952.

Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Flossie MacDonell and his brother Donald MacDonell. Brother of Paul (Diana), Stephen (Wendy), Tom (Melody) and Anne Marie (Torry). Uncle to Mark, Corey, Jenna, Kaitlyn, Kevin, Cole and Connor. Great uncle to Jase and Jade. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Michael is a former employee of Canadian National Railway. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and enjoyed living in the community of Hastings, Ontario.

Services to take place Saturday October 1st, 2022,

Visitation to take place at 10am at Brett Funeral Chapel, 76 Bridge St N, Hastings

Funeral Mass to take place at 11am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 51 Albert St E, Hastings followed by interment at Highland Park 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough.
