Obituary for Marie Josephine Thompson (Marshall)
MARIE JOSEPHINE THOMPSON,
Our beautiful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed into the next realm on May 25, 2022.
Marie celebrated her one hundred and first birthday (101) on Monday, May the 23rd, and is now reunited in the loving arms of her husband, Joseph Oswald Thompson.
Pre-deceased by siblings George,Tom, Sylvester, Bernard, Margaret, and Raymund.
Marie is survived by her three children, Ian(spouse Jasmine), Andrew and Susan(spouse Graeme), her grandchildren: Evita(spouse Paul), Alex, Derek(spouse Tracie), Matthew(mother Jennifer) Brandy, Luke, and great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Violet, her sister Patricia Coates of Great Britain, as well as many loving relatives and friends.
And Denise, who for 20 years called Marie “Mum”.
Viewing will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Brett Funeral Home, 76 Bridge St. North, Hastings, Ontario from 10:00-10:45 am.
A Mass/Celebration Of Life will follow at 11am at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 51 Albert St. East Hastings, followed by a social hour in the church hall..
Interment will be at the Warkworth Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
Marie’s family gratefully and lovingly acknowledge Dr. Brett Jamieson and ALL Warkworth Place staff for your love and care of our dear mother in her final years. Thank you.
