VARDY, Janice Marie (nee Hughes) - Died peacefully with family by her side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on July 23, 2023 in her 82nd year. Wife of the late Elwood Vardy. Dear mother of Brenda Rix (Michael) of Mississauga and Sandra LeBlanc (Robert) of Toronto. Grandma will be sadly missed by Matthew, Geoffrey (Jessica), Thomas and Madeleine, and great grandchildren Toren, Nevis, Porter and Charlie. Sister of Charles Hughes, predeceased (Evonne), Hazel Robinson (Royden), Ron Hughes (Debbie) and Barry Hughes (Paula). Also survived by her many well loved nieces and nephews. Family and friends may gather for visitation at Edmison Heights Bible Chapel, 939 Hilliard Street on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 6-8pm. A memorial service will be held at the chapel on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2pm followed by refreshments.
