Obituary for Jamie Leigh Young
JAMIE LEIGH YOUNG
January 11th, 1979 – August 14th, 2022

Jamie Leigh Young transitioned to the spirit world far too soon early on Sunday morning of August 14th, 2022. He was only 43 years old. The family is both devastated and deeply saddened by his death. Jamie was born on January 11th, 1979, in Campbellford, ON to James (Jake) Young pre-deceased and Evelyn Mayhew of Hastings. Cremation took place on August 22nd .
In addition to his mother, Jamie is survived by his "partner in love" Ashley Connors originally of Bowmanville and their 12-year-old son James Connors Young currently from Hastings. He leaves behind his brothers Jeremy Young and Michelle of Brockville, Jason Young and Darlene of Hastings, Joshua Young of Durham Region, Brandon Young and Laura of Brampton, Mitchell Young and Sarah of Tweed and his stepsister Margaret and stepmom Kathy Kelly. There are several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and extended family members that will miss him dearly.
We will celebrate Jamie’s brief time with us here on earth, acknowledge the many hearts he touched along the way, have faith that he is truly at peace in paradise and bless his heavenly journey in the spirit realm in the arms of all his friends and family who passed before him. We love you.
A Celebration of Life in Loving Memory of Jamie will be held at the Hastings Legion, on October 15th, 2022, from 1 - 5 PM. Friends and family are welcome.
A plan for donations in lieu of flowers will be decided and arranged.
