ROWAT, Iva -- Surrounded by loved ones at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood on Friday, September 22, 2023, Iva Loriene Rowat in her 91st year. Known for her friendliness to everyone, her smile and her amazing sense of humour, Iva will be missed by so many. Predeceased by her husband Graham.
Loving mother of Laurie Rowat (Wayne Newton) Pamela Spooner (Larry), Carolyn Wannamaker (John). Grandmother of Jesse Anderson (Stacia), Crystal Ronca (Ric), Graham Anderson (Pamela), Tyler Spooner (Kayla), Leah Brinkman (Richard) , Travis Wannamaker ( Kelley) , Jessica Cameron ( Jeff) and
Yvonne Wannamaker. She was so proud to be a great grandmother of 19 and a great great grandmother of 10.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Pleasant Meadow Manor, Norwood, for making Mom feel safe
and comfortable during her last few months.
Family and friends may gather on Thursday, September 28th, 2023 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00pm, Reverend David Estabrooks officiating. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada.
