February 27, 1964 to September 24, 2023
The family of Greg Thompson is saddened to announce his passing peacefully at his home on September 24, 2023.
Greg grew up in Bolton, Ontario and in recent years had made Havelock, Ontario his home.
Greg had the ability to fix anything mechanical he laid his hands on and often had many projects on the go at once. He loved to hit the trail on his ATV in the summer and on his sled in the winter, when there was sufficient snow. He was proud of his Ford F150 and his Fox Body Mustang LX that he always kept in impeccable condition.
Greg usually could be found with a cup of Timmies in his hand.
Greg will be missed by his parents, Doug and Maxine Thompson, of Rednersville, Ontario, his sister, Julie, of Mt. Albert, ON and his sister, Donna (Doug) of Anagance, New Brunswick. He will also be missed by his special friend, Dani, his sledding buddies and his beloved 3 cats.
Celebration of life will be held at the Colborne Legion, 92 King Street East, Colborne on Saturday November 18, 2023 starting at 11:30am. If desired, donations would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Association, Canadian Diabetes Association or the SPCA.
