THOMPSON, George Earl — Peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital, March 3, 2020 in his 69th year. Husband of June (nee Villeneuve). Loving father of Jon, and Jason (Julie). Proud Poppa of Dawson. Dear brother of Ruth Pringle (Morley-predeceased), William J. “Bill” Thompson, Ann Hebor-predeceased (Stan), and the late James and Eleanor Thompson. George will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A family and friends graveside interment will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Campbellford in the spring. In memory of George, donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be made at

Thompson Family.
Our sincere condolences to George's wife June and their sons Jason and Johnathan and to Grandson Dawson and to siblings Bill and Ruth. The Thompson family have always been friends and neighbours of our family. George's pain and suffer may be over however the pain of losing a loved one remains forever in our hearts. May you find comfort knowing he is in a better place.
