Condolences

Condolence From: Jamie Badowski
Condolence: Hi Dad, this month has been a hard one for me. I think about you all the time. I do hope you enjoyed the Christmas tree Derick, Cassidy and I decorated at your grave. Cassidy turned 12 yesterday as I am sure you know. We felt a huge presence of you around. So many people reminded me of you yesterday, it was like you were there. While eating supper at the Keg I saw this man just smiling and enjoying every moment of his grandchildren, I even mentioned with tears in my eyes to Derick and Cassidy that this man reminded me so much of you. When the man got up to leave he gave me a big smile and for a moment you were there. We just miss you so much. I am going to see mom the end of March in Costa Rica, looking forward to it. I do hope you are resting peacefully. I look forward to the times you are in my dreams, because I wake up feeling that I saw and spoke to you again. Love you Dad xoxo

Condolence From: Christene Cardoso (Badowski)
Condolence: Dad, it has been almost 5months since you left us here. Nelson, me and the kids all miss you very much. We treasure the last days we spent with you laughing and you spending time with your grandchildren which you treasured as much as they treasured you. We talk about you often, the kids say you are just above the clouds and in our hearts, I have to agree, you are all around us. We never not include you in our conversations, we talk about our memories and that you are not too far away. Although I know you hear us, what I would give to have a conversation with you again, a big old fist pump and listen to the way you giggled when we played a joke on you. Life is not the same without you. We are all ok, you made sure we were all going to be ok. I choose to celebrate your life dad, it was an impactful and meaningful one, the amount of people you made a difference with is just amazing and you are forever remembered. I know you want us to live our lives and be strong and when our time comes we will see you again and be together again. Rest in paradise dad. Love you with all my heart. Chris

Condolence From: Sharon I Badowski
Condolence: My husband, my love. I miss you and needed to talk to you. Life is moving forward but feels empty even in a room full of people. Sometimes it's easier to be alone than stay strong with others just to ease their discomfort. You know me, I don't like sympathy. I also have to get used to not having you watch my back. Its a lifetime of change and everyone has been great but no one fills the void. I'll be okay so don't worry, rest easy and rest up before I get there. It's going to take me awhile to get there as I still want to visit the places you wanted to take me. Love Sharon

Condolence: Sharon our deepest condolences go out to you and your family on Ed’s passing. Ed and I were great friends all through high school and our early working years. We worked together on Ed’s entrepreneurial job findings and socially had great fun together after those hard-working hours but as in many cases, our work and life commitments took us in different directions. It was great to have had the opportunity to visit with both you and Ed last summer and I commend Ed for reaching out to reacquaint with us and share our old memories and since then many more have been remembered. Those memories will always be with us and it was great to have Ed part of our lives.

Condolence: Ed, I struggle to find the words to describe my love for who were and will always be to me. From the minute I met you at the airport in Costa you immediately struck me as a teddy bear. You and Sharon opened your home and hearts to me. There was not one minute of the 12 days I spent with you that you didn’t do everything possible to make Costa Rica the most amazing trip of my life. I still laugh about the hotel with the “breakable bed”. Jump ahead 5 years... being able to be friends with you and Sharon has blessed me. You loved your family so dearly. And you cared so much for your friends. You will be missed so much by your children and grandchildren and your amazing wife. And us, your extended family and friends will miss you dearly. Sharon, Christene, Jamie and Curtis, love you all very much and I express my sincerest condolences to all of you not only from me, but Mom and granny. His light will shine and I know he will never be far from you. Rest In Peace Big Bad! Miss you
