Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edward Badowski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Jamie Badowski
Condolence: Hi Dad, this month has been a hard one for me. I think about you all the time. I do hope you enjoyed the Christmas tree Derick, Cassidy and I decorated at your grave. Cassidy turned 12 yesterday as I am sure you know. We felt a huge presence of you around. So many people reminded me of you yesterday, it was like you were there. While eating supper at the Keg I saw this man just smiling and enjoying every moment of his grandchildren, I even mentioned with tears in my eyes to Derick and Cassidy that this man reminded me so much of you. When the man got up to leave he gave me a big smile and for a moment you were there. We just miss you so much. I am going to see mom the end of March in Costa Rica, looking forward to it. I do hope you are resting peacefully. I look forward to the times you are in my dreams, because I wake up feeling that I saw and spoke to you again. Love you Dad xoxo

Condolence: Dad, it has been almost 5months since you left us here. Nelson, me and the kids all miss you very much. We treasure the last days we spent with you laughing and you spending time with your grandchildren which you treasured as much as they treasured you. We talk about you often, the kids say you are just above the clouds and in our hearts, I have to agree, you are all around us. We never not include you in our conversations, we talk about our memories and that you are not too far away. Although I know you hear us, what I would give to have a conversation with you again, a big old fist pump and listen to the way you giggled when we played a joke on you. Life is not the same without you. We are all ok, you made sure we were all going to be ok. I choose to celebrate your life dad, it was an impactful and meaningful one, the amount of people you made a difference with is just amazing and you are forever remembered. I know you want us to live our lives and be strong and when our time comes we will see you again and be together again. Rest in paradise dad. Love you with all my heart. Chris

Condolence: My husband, my love. I miss you and needed to talk to you. Life is moving forward but feels empty even in a room full of people. Sometimes it's easier to be alone than stay strong with others just to ease their discomfort. You know me, I don't like sympathy.
I also have to get used to not having you watch my back. Its a lifetime of change and everyone has been great but no one fills the void. I'll be okay so don't worry, rest easy and rest up before I get there. It's going to take me awhile to get there as I still want to visit the places you wanted to take me.

Love Sharon

Condolence: Dear Sharon, Jamie and family, my deepest sympathies on your loss. I’m fortunate to have had Ed as a coach and mentor and have many fond memories of him over the years during our time together. I took my first trip to Hong Kong with Ed and he made sure we found time to balance work with enjoying another part of the world. He was one of the greats and we are better people and leaders for having known him. Thinking of you all. Alan

Condolence: Dear Sharon and Family, It is with great sadness to hear about the sudden passing of Ed. I had the great pleasure to work with Ed for many years at Wal-Mart. As a young man Ed was my mentor and a great merchant. His love for his family was evident every day. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
