CLYSDALE, Doris A. (neé Oliver) – Peacefully at Peterborough Retirement Residence on July 11, 2021 in her 89th year. Wife of the late J. Ralph Clysdale. Dear mother of Ted Clysdale (Donna) of Peteborough. Grandma will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Natalie (Thomas Wojtowicz), Dylan (Angelina Basciano) & Taylor (Cassandra McDonald) and her great grandchildren Tessa Wojtowicz, Logan & Oliver Clysdale. Sister of Eva Woodhouse (Late Claude), Frances McVety, and Karen Boyer (late Bob), and the late Muriel Stephens (Murray), Ken Oliver (Edith) & Raymond Oliver. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Doris was a devoted volunteer serving her community with Trent Valley Cemetery, Trinity United Church & UCW, Canadian Cancer Society, Hastings Food Bank, Legion Kitchen and Community Care. She was active with the UCW for the waterfront festivals, Norwood Fair and many church functions. A graveside funeral service will be held at TRENT VALLEY CEMETERY, HASTINGS on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at 11:00am, Reverend Jamie York officiating.
