Acton, Donald William, July 25, 1931 - September 26, 2019 — After a full and happy life of family, work and travel, Don entered peacefully into the arms of his Lord with family by his side. Don leaves behind Joyce (nee Voutt) his best friend and loving wife of 66 years, along with their four children Deborah (Claude), Joanne (Ron), Donna (Scott) and Gary (Michelle). Blessed with twelve grandchildren Michael, David, Andrea, Allison, Valerie, Jacob, Sidney, Erin, Josh, Cash, Rowan and Presley along with five great grandchildren Cameron, Addison, Sam, James and Fiona, all of whom were loved and treasured by their Poppa. Visitation will be held at ST. JOHN’S UNITED CHURCH, 50 Bridge Street West, Campbellford on Monday, September 30 at 11:00 a.m. followed by the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock.
