Obituary for Carole Rosseen Ouellette (Ellis)
OUELLETTE (nee Ellis), Carole Rosseen, age 78, the "Belle of Belmont", born in Havelock, Ontario March 21, 1943 passed away October 8, 2021 at PRHC with her son and daughter by her side holding her hands after a terrible battle with dementia. She's at peace now.
Survived by her very loving and devoted husband of 57 years Maurice Thomas Ouellette of Peterborough and cherished Mom to Terry Ouellette and his wife Brenda, Linda Ashby and her husband Jeff, much loved Granny to Megan and her husband Trevor, Sophie, Jacob, Jeffery and Ryan, beloved Sister to Marlene Dickens and her husband Arthur, Larry Ellis and his wife Marilyn, Barry Ellis and his wife Michelle and Jeff Ellis. Also Sister to her late, very missed brother Hughie Ellis. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Florence Ellis of Havelock, Ontario.
Carole grew up on a beautiful farm on Belmont Lake in Havelock, Ontario. She was a former Westclox employee, avid curler and simply the best Mom and Granny ever.
Funeral Service was held October 12, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock Ontario. Donations can be made to PRHC Foundation or Alzheimer's Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Haliburton.
