Obituary for Barbara Marlene Sherwin (Begg)
Sherwin, Barb -- Peacefully surrounded by her family at Warkworth Bridge Hospice on March 8, 2022. Loving wife of Paul Sherwin, mother of Mike (Karen), Rhonda (Dave), and predeceased by her daughter Stephanie. Proud grandmother of her five grandchildren, Matt (Mara Pearson), Ben, Ryan Sherwin, Iva, Lila Drain. Daughter of Marilyn and Ray Begg, sister of Jack (Nancy) Begg, Joan (Bill) Smith and late Fred Begg. She will be sadly missed by other dear family, friends and neighbours.
Mom was a tireless community volunteer giving countless hours to the Norwood United Church, Fair Board, Community Care and the Food Bank. Her time spent with these organizations gave back to her in the multitude of new friendships she made.
A celebration of life will be held Sat. March 12th at the Norwood United Church at 1:00 pm followed by a reception at Norwood Town Hall.
