WIGHT - Lois Elizabeth Allemang
Retired Elementary School Teacher and member of St. John's United Church Campbellford With deep sadness our family announces the death of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Having just celebrated her 90th birthday, Lois died as she had lived - with the love, admiration and respect of her family. Lois was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Murray Andrew Wight (2000) and her parents Harvey and Ivy (Duffin) Allemang. As a Mother, Lois leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Rev. Janet Wight and her son, Jeffrey Wight (wife PJ). Grammie is mourned by her grandsons Bradley Wight and Christopher Wight (wife April), and her great-granddaughters Aviendha and Lindrian. As a family, it will be our privilege to carry forward the values and life-lessons that she has instilled in each of us. Visitation is at St. John's United Church, 50 Bridge St West Campbellford on Saturday October 14, 2017 from 10:00-11:30am. Service of Thanksgiving and Remembrance from the Church at 11:30am. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock at 3:00pm. All flowers are respectfully declined. As a family, we ask that Diabetes Canada , ALS Canada or St. John's Church be considered for Memorial donations. Online condolences may be made at www.brettfuneralchapels.com.
