Condolence From: Carol Irvine
Condolence: Heidi, Lisa, Tom and family
I was so sorry to hear of Doug passing. Throughout the years Shane shared many, but not all his stories, of the adventures that he and Doug had. They stayed in touch and it is truly a gift that they were able to remain friends as their lives took different paths. They are reunited and I am sure causing havoc.
Heidi, you and Doug created a close family and so many happy memories, let them ease the pain.

Condolence: Doug and I had kind of a unique relationship. Our paths crossed quite regularly while walking on the Hastings trail. He usually heading in an easterly direction, me heading west. On average I'd say our chats lasted 5 or 10 minutes. The warm memory of those spirited, wide-ranging conversations will last far, far longer. My condolences to family and friends.

Condolence: Heidi I am so saddened to hear of Doug's passing. He showed so much compassion to my Father, Ed Lynch when we went for our walks.
You and your family are in my prayers! I only knew him for such a short time but he made a great impression, full of compassion for his family and others. Homewood Ave lost a great neighbour!

Condolence: Dearest Heidi and Family,
We are so deeply saddened by the loss of Doug. He was a most unique, caring and wonderful human being. If you were fortunate to meet him, then he touched your life. Although so many hearts are breaking at this time, in another place there is much rejoicing for Doug's arrival.
We love you all.
Susanne and Paul.

Condolence: Heidi and Family:

We were saddened to hear the news of Doug's passing. Although we only spoke on several occasions it was evident that you were both so enjoying your new life on Homewood Ave. As we were leaving the street it was so nice to see you and Doug so happy to have found a new home. You are in our thoughts and our prayers. With deepest sympathies.
