Douglas Wayne McKnight
McKnight, Douglas Wayne (Retired Region of Durham employee) — Peacefully at his residence, March 17, 2017 in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Heidi for over 41 years. Son of William & Joan McKnight. Dear father of Tom McKnight and Lisa Mitchell (husband Ian). Loving grandfather of Tommy, Liam, Max & Jamie. Brother of Carol Smith (husband Mark) and Paul McKnight (wife Rita). Uncle of Quinn & Jesse. He will be sadly missed by all including his faithful dog, Rosco. Doug enjoyed life on the water, boating & fishing, especially with his grandsons. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at ELMHIRST LODGE, 1045 Settlers Line, Keene, Ontario, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
