Obituary for Echo Florence McFaul (Sloan)

McFAUL, Echo Florence – At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, January 19, 2017, surrounded by family, after a battle with cancer, Echo McFaul (nee Sloan) of Havelock, in her 87th year. Wife of the late Ray McFaul. Loving mother of Elaine Auld (John), Eileen Greenhalgh (Garry), Jane Crofts (late Rob), Diane McFaul, Catherine McFaul and Leila Lake (Herbie). Beloved Grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Echo was born in Manitoulin Island to a family of ten children. She was involved in her community of Havelock, being a member of the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge. A Memorial Service will be held at the HAVELOCK LIONS CLUB (upstairs arena), 39 George Street East, Havelock on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery in the spring. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care unit at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Also, Echo received outstanding care by the VON nurses and PSWs during her time at home.
