(Life Member and Former Navigator of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus) – At The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth, on Friday, November 18, 2016, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Edward Lynch of Hastings, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Anne Lynch (nee Fullerton) for almost 59 years. Dear father of Maureen Gillin (Kim) of Racine, Wisconsin, Kathy Lynch-Brousse (Terry) of Cambridge, Karen Harmon (Richard) of Elora, and Michael (Ginger) of Brantford. Brother of Dianne and Lawrence. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Terry (Sharon) and Heather (Wayne). Grandpa will be sadly missed by his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Resting at the BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, HASTINGS on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 7 – 9 pm. Legion Service 6:45 pm followed by Knights of Columbus Ceremony. Parish prayers 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 am, Reverend Joseph Devereaux officiating.
