BEAVIS, Thomas Ford (Tomcat) - December 28, 1950 - August 26, 2016 Passed away suddenly at home in his 66th year. Loving son of the late Ford and Monica Beavis (nee Wilson) of Hastings. Proud father of Terry (Lisa Holmes) and Don (Heather). Grandfather to Brittany Dawe, Zach Garvey, Johnathon Curry (Jasmine) and Alyssa Booth (Jesse). Great-Grandfather to Mya Dawe, Graysen Curry and Violet Phillips. Survived by Barbara Quinn (Kingston), Gerald Beavis (Maple Ridge, BC), Mary Smith (Roger) (Kelowna, BC), and Joe Beavis (Hastings). Predeceased by Ken Beavis and Joanne Beavis. Fondly remembered by Dennis Quinn and several nieces and nephews. Tom had been retired for several years from Inco in Sudbury where he worked for 36 years. A Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 1pm-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Hastings (upper floor). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association or The Campbellford Wellness Centre.
