RILEY, Dorothy (McMillan, West) -- It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Dorothy Riley on June 24, 2013 at Ina Grafton Village Home in St. Catharines, Ontario in her 88th year. Wife of the late Everett Riley (2007) and Donald McMillan (1969). Daughter of the late William West and Lillian Keeler. Sister of Marie Moore, Peterborough and the late Wilbert and Frederick. Mother of Bonnie Jackson, St. Catharines, William (Donna) McMillan, Elliott Lake, Robert (Kathy) McMillan, Havelock, and Sharon, British Columbia and the late Murray and James McMillan. Survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was the Past Worthy Mistress of the Ladies Orange Lodge #471 of Havelock and also a member of the Crystal Chapter. Everett and Dorothy Riley started the Havelock Fife and Drum Band.
The family will receive family and friends at the BRETT FUNERAL CHAPEL, 20 George St. W., Havelock, Ontario, for visitation on Wednesday June 26th, from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be at 1:30 pm Thursday June 27th, with visitation at 12:30 pm, Reverend David Estabrooks officiating. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock.
